Early on Easter Sunday morning, with the context of this tumultuous period of 2020 in mind, I awoke and was given time to reflect—where my thinking was drawn to how this period can speak into my own present journey.
It is often at these times, before I intentionally awake, that I begin to ponder some more personal considerations, encouraging me to record for remembrance.
As I weighed the wonder of the resurrection, and the shifting of history’s narrative because of that moment, I was personally encouraged to consider any potential risk through publishing or any greater ministry RELOVUTIONARY context, especially as it relates to my health, as worth any exposure, because what I experience daily in any short term, is not God’s final end.
If He wants me to press beyond, He will make sure I return home.
God does the unthinkable. He rewrites history to make history because He controls history. He brings light out of darkness. Hope out of despair. A future where there only seems a past.
But, you must be prepared to take a first faltering step, and follow Him, even if you periodically look a whole lot scared. He will give you grace to start moving and keep going, even if this entire journey is finished with a pronounced limp.
Because when He turns up, He changes everything.
And this is true for every other person reading!
Resurrection Sunday 2020—His new life within—changing everything without!
