The foundation that flourished into an All Blacks connection, actually grew from the soil of new media dimensions. These started very organically through the encouragement and online enabling of a good friend. The means of communication was on a blogging platform, which would become especially enthusiastic through the use of social media. I think it is fair to say I was the first to consistently live-tweet NZ provincial rugby. They say timing is everything, and it is part of any perceived genius. This general combination provided a stage for my written actors to unleash-their-beast. The general potential through such world-wide-web media-platform-evolutions has very much democratised the stage through the-ability-to-arrive-on-people’s-screens-anywhere-in-the-world, which can then rise to a serious altitude if you hit the sweet-spot; or maybe even more like, if you and the sweet-spot find each other. [*] While the connection with the All Blacks remains the most significant, it is not of a singular instance, nor what was historically leading the process. I have had writing platforms for days. The consistent and continued exposure led growing connections to describe me as a “NZ Social Media Rugby Legend” inside the shores of Aotearoa; the “Shakespeare of Rugby” out of the South African republic, while on the Continent, the “XXIst Century Missing Link between Rugby & Poetry” in France. While the pace of daily communications slowly pressed me toward the drawn-out world of the book-form, these experiences involved a period of great learning about the art and means of communication, which I hope to continue on at least this present platform, and in some shape or form onto other mediated shores. And my cyber door is always open to ideas, if you are considering.
[*] For example, I ranked 20th in the World of Twitter Influencers, at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. (http://www.onalytica.com/blog/posts/rugby-world-cup-2015-top-100-influencers-and-brands/)

This has been my dominant online image, with the additional descriptive portion out of the LIVE site, which was my then, online audio commentary. This image tends to split an audience, as its composition impacts far from neutral. This image-emphasis is tied into some already-shared themes; and was probably reflective of my more “out there” style and substance. For your information, because I know you are interested, I am in the process of putting the main portal back online. I will let you know. Yes, SUBSCRIBE.
My wider world strength-of-impact can also be underscored through the recognition of, Blog of the Month, out of the confines of South Africa, and the Sports Illustrated magazine.
Probably the first really significant give-away, coupled with a four-part interview series was with All Blacks Prop, Neemia Tialata. Probably the most special give-away would be Charles Piutau’s own debut socks, out of SuperRugby, and with the Blues.
After a special fundraising event, where I would spend some quality time with this 2007 Rugby World Cup winner for the Springboks, and now media personality. There is still a lingering witness of this historic connection, where I would become Editor of his Journey, in the world of Rugby. I hope to put some of this collaboration back online in the future. Again, you should stay informed for the potential when.
